The former speaker of the state House, the state director for Americans for Prosperity and a political couple with a number of campaigns under their belts are among the latest Colorado politicos welcoming babies.
Clark Albert Dunstone was due in late January but showed up on Dec. 28, 2015. He weighed 6 pounds 5 ounces despite the early arrival date.
“Clark told me he came 4 weeks early so that he could witness Michigan State defeat Alabama in person instead of just hearing muffled shouting from inside the womb! LET’S GO GREEN!!!!” proud dad Adam Dunstone wrote on Facebook Dec. 31.
(Perhaps Clark sensed the Crimson Tide would smoke the Spartans 38-0 so he showed up ahead of schedule to distract and console his father.)
“All I know is that Spartan Nation is always happy to gain another maniac rooting for the Green and White!” Dunstone said, when asked about the defeat. “And we are excited to add another Democrat to the rolls in Colorado.”
